I have walked 818000 thousand steps for year to date and a combined 5.2million steps since 2021 not to shabby…however for a touch of comical input the average activity level puts me at 61.9 years of age which could be ok if I didn’t just turn 60… wow that’s bar that’s kinda high?

Wow only 890miles to go ?

Hard to believe but just a few short years ago I started this cycle for cancer challenge getting ready in July of 2021 and since then I have done 990 outside rides not including my stationary bike for a combined 9090 miles so just shy of 10 thousand miles …hard numbers to grasp so that’s approx from my home in Wilmington Delaware to Los Angeles and back and then back to Los Angeles again basically esp on the heals of recovery of my own cancer.i guess to say when I don’t feel like I have done anything then I look at what I have accomplished.. anyway enough reflecting and back to training on a nice Sunday morning 😊

And so it begins 2026

Well this is a big year it’s my 5th challenge and I am hoping to make this best year year yet. Been slowly working on riding again was a very harsh winter but a rather nice spring so just averaging 150 a month not bad not as much (truthfully I have been busy with other items in my life but also a bit lazy) when I should have taken advantage of nicer weather and now July 2nd it’s in the 100 deg range … well need to get back into shape and working hard again these kids deserve a lot of someone working hard for them….
