I'm Riding For

Lydia, Riley & Noah and all other little angels!

I've been at this ride and quest, to help fund research that matters for kids with cancer because what seems like yesterday, my little friend Noah was diagnosed and ultimately lost his battle...but waged a war with his story. It was one of hope and inspiration. Of faith and fearless fighting. Then a couple years later, my little friend Riley took a turn in his journey and fought fearlessly to the end. Those two kids taught me a lot about fighting even when you didn't want to.... That brings me to my little friend Lydia. She was a fighter, but a different kind. The kind that brought rainbows and butterflies and unicorns to EVERY situation she was involved in...no matter what. She defied what the doctors said at every turn. But you know what....I'm tired of losing little friends. I'm tired of walking friends through having to watch their kids fight so hard. There are different stories for everyone. But I ride for better research and better endings for more kids.

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
