My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because I am a cancer fighter. I was diagnosed a couple months after my 46th birthday. I had 45 cancer-free years. But, right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week. I am riding for these children and my friend's daughter, Gemma, who survived leukemia, and my friend's niece, Hope, who was diagnosed with a gastric adenocarcinoma in September of this year.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

I am raising funds through my challenge to create hope for a cancer-free future. Please help the Children's Cancer Research Fund to continue to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
