My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.

This Challenge is Over for me
24 Sep 2024Due to my right foot still recovering from a fall, every time I bike even for 30 minutes my foot has to rest for a couple of days at least and then walk slow. Plus, I had a minor surgery this morning and the doctor advised to rest for at least a week to start doing my activities more each day afterwards.
My apologies to the kids and Great Cycle Challenge for this inconvenient, and I hope to be able to participate next year under better conditions.

Right foot still hurting
14 Sep 2024I am still dealing with the twist I got on my right foot about a month ago when I slipped in a puddle of water. Plus the cramps I felt on both legs as I was biking on Tuesday. As soon as I recover I will keep biking for our kids.
Sorry for this delay though.

Day 11: resting my legs
12 Sep 2024This has been some training for me because a few weeks ago, I slipped in a poodle of water in my neighborhood, and my right foot got hurt really bad. Nevertheless, I thought I was healed already but yesterday my biking proved me wrong, besides cramps on both of my legs, my right one did not stop aching and hurting a lot all day long. So, I will take a break from biking and keep working on raising support for our kids anyway. Thank you all.

Day 5: a long day
6 Sep 2024Although it’s been a busy day, I decided to ride at home for a little over one hour. Either way, it’s over 11 miles. Nevertheless, I’m still counting on you to help me reach my goal to ‘fight kids’ cancer’. Thank you so much for your time and care for our kids. Every dollar counts and is worth saving all lives. Thank you again, and blessings to you and your family.

Back to Biking for Our Kids
2 Sep 2024After a year or so from the last ride, I’m back supporting to fight kids’ cancer. It has not been a smooth ride for all the things I have experienced in the last few months. Sometimes, it feels like it’s better to give up and quit this challenge. But seeing their beautiful faces, knowing their ages and how brave they are facing this world and telling cancer, with their own lives, that they will never give up or abandon their love for life, gives me the momentum I need to see that my own fears, troubles and insecurities are nothing compared to what each of our kids go through daily. Therefore, I’m not turning down the chance to help save them and eradicate cancer from our world once and for ever.
For this reason, I would like to count on your help by going to my link here and make a donation for our kids fighting to live cancer-free for ever and ever.
