My Story

VERY happy to announce to all that I'm picking things back up this year with my support of the Great Cycle Challenge, riding to support the fight against kids' cancer! I hope you'll join me and give what you can in support of this incredibly important cause. Everyone reading this knows me well enough to know of my love for my kids and grandkids, so it's not hard to imagine how it brings me to my knees to imagine any kid anywhere suffering in any way. Right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Please join me in giving what you can. I've committed to riding 100 miles in the month of September with the hope that all of you will help me raise at least $500 for the cause. BUT - let's all go the "extra mile" ... I'll do everything in my power, weather- and health-willing, to FAR exceed the goal of 100 miles. Can you help us exceed the $500 total? We've done it easily the first 3 years I did this ... please help us do it again!
