I'm Riding For

Elliott Maxwell Wilke

Elliott Maxwell Wilke

This is my 4 year old grandson Elliott who has leukemia. I am not only riding for Elliott but for all kids who should be playing, learning, & having fun but instead they are battling this dreadful disease.

My Story

10 Sep 2024

Since I joined the 2020 Great Cycle Challenge of course a lot has change in the life of my family. I'm pleased to announce that our grandson Elliott Maxwell Wilke is now 8 years old, healthy & doing well. Praise The LORD for the great work He has done in Elliott along with all the wonderful people involved in his recovery!

Although I've missed the past couple of years & am even late coming to this year's ride I'm making 250 miles my goal for the rest of this month to help fight kids' cancer. My challenge is nothing compared to what all these brave little kids and their families endure every single day of their lives. I'm encouraged though by what I've seen with my own grandson. But we must do more to eradicate this terrible disease.

Kids should be living life not fighting for it so I am taking on this challenge to help end childhood cancer and save these little lives.

All funds raised will help support Children's Cancer Research Fund to continue their work to develop innovative treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Thank you for your support.
