My Story

I began this challenge in 2016 as I was preparing for my first cross country bike ride in 2017. Since then, GCC has been a continual reminder of the fun and energy that comes with taking off on my bike to whatever destination. Thank you again GCC for giving me an even better reason than my own enjoyment to hop on the saddle again!

Because a recent job and city change has created less opportunity to ride my bike, I will need encouragement from all of you to complete this challenge! I commit to riding 4 days a week in September, rain or shine! I will contribute $1.00 per mile I ride. Which of you will match my commitment?

If a dollar per mile is not your style, or, you can't wait until the 30th to contribute... Pick a random day in September, then come back to this sight on that day and see how many miles I have ridden. Match my miles with your dollars and be a part of making life better for those living with cancer!
