Henry Honmyhr

Henry Honmyhr is one of the best teenagers around. He makes great eye contact with adults, wants to start a window-washing business, slays on the mountain bike and ski hill, he's super nice to all his little cousins, he's a great brother, he's everyone's favorite friend, and he is the oldest of Paul and Amy's three children. Henry was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on 9/20/23 and was admitted to the hospital to start his first round of treatment the next day. Treatment for ALL is about 2 1/2 years long. He has had set-backs but hasn’t fallen. So we spend as much time in a world of hope and miracles as we can. And EVERYONE continues to care/support Henry no matter what happens. He still has a very long road ahead of him but he’s proven to be up for the challenge.

This September, I am again taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer. And with every lifesaving treatment we find for children, we also find a treatment for others fighting cancer.
