We lost a force of nature. Cancer sucks! Bonnie was a inspiration and role model to so many and a constant cheerleader for my ride each year. She always reminded us that life is precious and each day is a chance to care for others and enjoy the ride. I will ride each day with her on my heart and be so grateful she was in my life path.

My Story

This September I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! I am recommitting to the challenge after recovering from a broken back last year so my goal has been adjusted to 150 miles. Each ride will be with my friend Bonnie on my heart.

I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

Every little bit helps.

Update and thank you

We are at the end of September and the challenge. I have had to update my milage goal due to some setbacks and my schedule but I will keep riding into October to add as many miles as possible.

I am headed to help with hurricane recovery and support my Cedar Key FL community this week.
