Julia mcmorrow
I will be riding for my lovely daughter Julia who was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in October 2017. Riding 120 miles pales in comparison as to what she went through on a just one day! That’s is why I call her my Strong Dog!! I love you sweetie
My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Final Day!!
29 Sep 2024Today is the last ride and what a day!! The weather did not call for rain but it did rain and of course I had 31 miles left to do. After all said and done it was still a great day out and Scott joined me for my last journey which was nice 😊
I hope that every mile helps to crush Childhood Cancer so that no other parent has to be told your child has Cancer.

2nd day out!!
3 Sep 2024Today was a challenge for sure!! I thought I was feeling ready until I got on the bike lol, was still sore from the ride before, but it didn’t stop me haha, I road for 22 miles alone today and it was cold,and empty on the trail. A lot of animals out today which was nice to see 😊
Still itching for my next ride!

First day out !!!!
1 Sep 2024Woke up this morning feeling so excited to go biking 🚴 and not the usual feeling I have when I go but this time it’s for a much deeper purpose. Scott joined me today and we had such great conversations and even grabbed a bite to eat along the way back on the trail. I am really soar but still looking forward to the next ride 😝
