My niece Ava Christianson is the reason I am participating in the Great Cycle Challenge. The fall of 2017 we lost Ava to Leukemia, and the world lost a special little girl who I know would have done many more great things. During her battle with cancer she participated in ground breaking studies to help further treatment for childhood leukemia, (google her ”Cart19 Ava Christianson"). I am sure you have all heard people say something like “they fought bravely everyday and never gave up hope” but what isn’t said is they shouldn’t have had to do that. Ava should still be here but I guess we find peace in the thought that her soul had more important things on its list to do. For as much as she did in her life to help others it would not surprise me if she is doing so much more in ways we can’t see. Ava was a gift to this world, she had very little time to be a child because she had to be a fighter, and I ride for her💗I ride to remember, to honor, and to feel her presence.
