My Story

Hi,

During September, I am riding in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer for the 8th year in a row.

My goal is to ride 200 miles throughout the month...

If I hit $500 in donations before middle of September (15th) I'll raise my miles to 250 for the month of September.

Why am I doing this? Because cancer is the largest killer of children from disease in the United States.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

I am also doing this for everyone who has ever been affected by cancer in any way.

Please support my 200 mile challenge by making a donation.

All funds raised will support Children's Cancer Research Fund to continue their work to develop innovative treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

I'll be uploading pictures and updates on my rides periodically, so please check back on this page to see how I'm doing on my challenge throughout the month.

    With today's 24.24 mile ride I passed my 250 mile biking goal. I raised the goal from 200 to 250, since I passed my raising goal of $500 before mid September. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Today's ride was hot and windy. I stopped at Prior Lake and found out they had a chalk fest there Fri./Sat. You can see couple pictures from that. There's also a picture of the crazy red sunrise this week. hope everyone has had an excellent weekend.

    Hi,

    So far I have pedaled 162 miles this month. Today is Kick Cancer's Butt Day when online donations up to 1.5M will be matched. Here are a few pictures from my rides so far. I got rained on on the ride back home from work one day, had to back track on some trails due to its condition, I have seen bunch of wildlife and beautiful sun rises.
