My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Today- Day 2 of week 2
10 Sep 2024Great ride this morning as the air was crispbut warmed up as I went along. A deer decided she wanted to run along side of me for a brief moment - which got my full attention😁 we managed to part ways with her taking the lead😬 lol.

Year Two and Ready To Go
31 Aug 2024Last year was a challenge mentally and physically as I was getting familiar with my new road bike.
This year I am ready to go as I trained over the winter and have been riding 40 miles per week average for the last 3 months.
Excited for the journey and challenge donors to help me reach my goal of $500. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the GCC fight against kids cancer. Let the riding begin in two days and see where we end up.
