My Story

23 Aug 2024

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer. Although this is the third time I am participating, it is the first time the need hits so close to home.

Our first grandchild, Micah Elizabeth was born a beautiful, healthy baby on January 6th, 2024. Twenty days later she was diagnosed with leukemia. It turned out that she had both AML and ALL forms. She went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 31st.

We have all seen the gentle hand of a loving and caring God with us through it all.

My first ride for this organization was in 2017. I never would have imagined it would one day be so intensely personal.
