Roozie Assadi
That’s Roozie with my son Chris being silly. Roozie was diagnosed with Brain Cancer at a young age. He went through Chemo and Radiation. We were blessed to have him in our lives. He was blessed to have an awesome group of friends. He touched so many people. Would play any game. Loved food. He traveled to Europe with my son and his other friend Issac at the end of their senior year of high school. His light shined brightly but too short and we miss him. He died much too young and I grieve for his parents loss. I grieve for my sons loss and selfishly for my own loss. He will remain in our hearts always.
My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Suzi’ ride challenge.
6 Sep 2024Well I am into week 1. It has been a challenge to take the time to get on the bike and or Ice Trike. My husband ended up in the hospital, so I have been exhausted. He is home now. So back to the grind I will try and get 20 miles in this weekend. Wish me luck!
