I'm Riding For
Sawyer
Poot, I want everyone to know what a badass my little sister is. I am so unbelievably proud of you! Your strength has amazed and inspired me tremendously over the past year. But unfortunately you're not alone. There are tons of little badasses out there and I want them to know that, like yourself, they have other people fighting for them. I can only hope to impact their lives as much as you have mine. If I can help you at all, in any way, I'd love to be apart of it. But while I'm at it, I might as well ride my bike too.
My Story
What I want you all to know is that I appreciate your support for Sawyer. I am constantly surprised by how many of you have reached out and made an effort to improve her life. So thank you! Unfortunately she isn't alone. I joined this challenge because I want to reach just a bit further than those close to me. I'd like to extend the support Sawyer has received and offer it to those who may be less fortunate. We have had an amazing support system and I wished it were the same for every child. This challenge contributes directly to childhood cancer research, meaning the money raised will be put towards developing new treatments and potentially a cure. At the very least I'd like to spread some awareness and ask that you continue supporting children in the future. Don't donate directly to my page but maybe to a family in need. Thank you so much for your time and don't forget how much we appreciate you.
What's below was suggested by GCC, but I really like the message so I'm going to leave it here.
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
