My Story

This September I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

I have been active for many years raising money to fight the war on cancer. Many family members and friends have dealt with a diagnosis and unfortunately many have not won their battles. With advancements in research and treatments I have several friends that have survived cancers that many would not have survived years ago. Recently I have focused on children because children deserve a chance to live a full life. Right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
