Many reasons to ride
Christina and I will be riding this year and we have many reasons to ride! As some may know, my sister Sandy, was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer the night before our 200mile trip last year! Sadly, she has passed away this past May! Christina had taken a mammogram because of that and, yep she too has/had breast cancer and went through the treatments and should be fine going forward! I myself have had thyroid cancer so we both ride for a lot of personal reasons. Also, my brother Dean has been kicking Lung Cancers butt and our friend Carlie has been kicking it too! THANK GOD AND THANK MODERN MEDICINE!! this research fundraiser helps everyone, not just kids! Most people have no idea what others go through until it happens to you or to people you care about <3 we may not be going on hundreds of miles at once for the trip but we are going on trips nonetheless of 70 and 120 and we will muster our energy to do as many as possible ~ GET YOUR BOOBIES CHECKED! ~Much love, Sheri and Christina <3
