I had the privilege of riding a beautiful trail along the Fox River today with a good friend who helped push me to complete 50 miles in windy conditions. THANK YOU, STEVE! It was great to wrap up the 400 mile Great Cycle Challenge with a couple days to spare and it was a good lesson in the importance of having somebody at your side when trying to accomplish a difficult task.

I'm a little short of hitting my donations goal of $1,500, but I know there is a donation coming in soon that will put the total over the goal. Another friend I spent some time with today has raised more that $12,000 during the Great Cycle Challenge ... how amazing is that?
