I became an avid cyclist in the most weird of ways. I actually lost my license due to a DUI over 15 years ago. I lived in Phoenix Arizona at the time, that's where I've spent most my life, so it was easy for me to hop on a bike and get anywhere, anytime because we never had to battle with any kind of weather.
Little did I know that I would pick up a hobby and become so passionate about it that it would shape and mold the rest of my life. I have ridden various different bicycles for various different activities and I am so passionate about it now and grateful that it all happened the way it did.
4 years ago I moved to the Midwest to be closer to my family. So now the challenge is having to get those miles in with the change of season. I'm pleased to live in central Illinois, as the summer was so beautiful and green.
