Last ride of the month

Today Sept 30th was a beautiful day to be outside I rode 37 miles today making it the longest ride of the month. I made it to 267 miles I rode 67 more miles than was asked of me, I did it for you, the kids fighting cancer. My twin was diagnosed with Leukemia years ago and has been in remission for several years now, I know what it is like to not know what tomorrow brings. But there is light and there is hope. I hope you overcome and persevere through this tough time in your life. Just know there are so many people out there that love you and want to see your beautiful smile. Thank you for the opportunity. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Summer ride 9/11/24

I had a blast the past two days biking. A combined total of 67 miles. In two days? I’ll take that. I biked through Otsinengo park, the weirdness of Harry L drive, the beautiful homes in Port Dickinson. Been all over Binghamton these past 11 days. I have been pushing my limits to see what I’m capable of and. I am realizing I am capable of quite a bit. Thinking about the children that I am biking for really gives me great motivation to achieve this personal goal. Thank you for your support.

From my house to Walmart

Today I rode my bike to Walmart to pick up a gift for my wife’s birthday on the 9th. I was tired from from riding my bike 91 miles since September 1st. I did want to get some miles in today but not as much as the past few rides. I was hoping that this trip would at least be ten miles long there and back. I was pleasantly surprised that it was almost exactly ten miles.
My legs are pretty tired from biking. I have biked a total of 101 miles so far I have 99 to go. I feel humbled, and honored to be a part of this cause. The exertion of biking reminds me of the children I am doing this for, and to be honest their determination to survive has given me extra will power to overcome obstacles in my own life.
Every ride is for the children who are fighting, who have continued to fight, and who will never give up. This is for you.
