Got an early morning ride in today, trying to beat the heat. There is something so peaceful about being out here while the morning was still quiet.
As I rode, I prayed that my efforts would not be in vain; that every drop of sweat and every turn of these pedals would lead to helping a child and a family who needs it. π
Thatβs what keeps me pedaling. Thatβs the purpose behind every mile.
To everyone who has donated, encouraged me, shared my journey, or supported me in any way β₯οΈβ₯οΈ THANK YOU. I appreciate you more than I can express.
16.56 miles down. π΄πΎββοΈπ
Baby, it was HOOOOTTTTTT out there today! π₯΅βοΈ
I definitely felt every bit of that heat during my 12-mile ride.
But every time I wanted to complain, I reminded myself why Iβm doing this.
What I dealt with for 12 miles today is NOTHING compared to what these kids and their families go through fighting cancer. The treatments. The fear. The exhaustion. The uncertainty. Day after day.
So I kept pedaling. π΄πΎββοΈ
12 miles closer to my goal β and 12 miles for the kids. ποΈπ
Thank you to everyone supporting my 12th year riding in the Great Cycle Challenge.
Every mile matters.
Every donation matters.
And these kids are worth every single one. π
