Ride 17

We started our ride early today to get it done before the winds got to be too much. Lynn did a great job navigating us around the countryside. There were a few headwind and uphill challenges, but we had an awesome ride in spite of the conditions! It was my longest ride of the Challenge! I am so thankful for all of his support and encouragement! 🙏🙌❤️

While riding,my thoughts were of all the kids currently fighting cancer. I saw a local news segment about a 5-year old boy, Tucker Honeycutt, who will be undergoing surgery for a brain tumor on Monday at Duke. Please keep him, his family and those caring for him in your prayers. 🙏❤️‍🩹🙏

I have 50 miles remaining and will hopefully finish on Tuesday! Let’s finish strong for these brave warriors in the fight! 🙏🚴‍♀️🙌

I had another good ride on the trainer last night. I added another 17 miles! I am getting closer to the finish line! Keep the support and prayers coming! 🙏🚴‍♀️🙌

Ride 15

Today’s ride was another good trainer ride. It was a fast, flat course, but it was a lot of hard work (and fun)! I added another 17 miles today! I was thinking of all the kids pushing hard in their fight against cancer, and it motivated me to push myself! 🚴‍♀️

I had a short ride on the trainer last night. I added 8 more miles to the total! Slowly but surely I will get there! I’ve got eight more days to go!
