Last few days of challenge

Hey y’all!

I have been slacking on getting the rest of my miles in due to working extra shifts. I am going to do my best to get the last 44 or so miles done by the 30th. It’ll be close but that falls on me for falling behind and taking days off of riding.

I will continue to ride in October as well just to make up for time off during September.

Day 9

Good Morning Everybody!

It’s day 9 of the GCC and I’ve ridden 92 miles of my 350.

With 258 miles left to ride this month, I’m only at $72 raised for my challenge. My goal is $500 and earning this years jersey. I’ve found a total of 51 cents towards the “Penny’s From Heaven” donation at the end of the ride. If you can, please donate. It all adds up and goes for the Children’s Cancer Research.

Plus, tomorrow September 10th is match day! So Don’t Forgot to DONATE ONLINE and help the kids!

6 days in 50 miles down

I decided not ride today due to winds. I plan on riding to hula practice tomorrow then home afterwards. Rode 50 miles and worked Sunday night through Friday night. Most of the nights, I was server so walked close to 3-4 miles each night.

Plan for this upcoming week is to get at least 75-80 more miles done towards my goal of 350.

Now to work on getting more donations to meet my goal of $500 and earning the 2024 jersey.

The match day this year is Tuesday September 10th. Make donations that day and they will match it. Any amount big or small helps.

Second Ride

Todays ride was brutal, but nothing compared to what the children fighting cancer deal with daily.

The winds almost blew me over a few times, but again, beautiful day for a ride. Didn’t go the distance I planned, but still managed to get 13 more miles in. NOT a fast pace today at all! 🥵

First day ride on Sept 1st

I rode 12 miles on day one. Started about 6:15 am and went at a nice leisurely pace. After that, I went kayaking for a few hours. Had to work that night as well. Great day!!!!!
