So this guy comes up along side me on an e-bike and leads with you should get one of these. He is older than me so I play along. I like pedaling I said, he said so do I. I told him I like the workout he said I do too. He said he gets a great workout, I said I am riding in a fundraiser and riding an e-bike goes against anything I would do as part of a fundraiser. I guess my 2023 GCC shirt wasn’t obvious enough? I also told him that motorized vehicles are not allowed in the bike lanes. Our conversation was over.

So today I start my ride my fifth ride with the lowest raised total in the history of my ride. I wonder what that says about the climate out there for selflessness and or politics perhaps? Anyway, I’m still gonna do my ride sponsorship or not happy Labor Day weekend.
