Ray Hall and I rode over 15 1/2 miles on The Tweetsie Trail Sunday. We started out much later than we should have and it

didn’t take long for the temp to rise to 90 degrees. I wanted to complain about the sweat in my eyes, the extreme fatigue and Rays expectations to reach a certain destination. (He’s not about to give up and I’m along for the ride sometimes.) Over half way through the ride I stopped and pulled up Grayson's Fight and decided I have nothing to complain about. Ever. My leisurely ride was my choice. I can choose what I want to face in a day. The last 3 uphill miles were fueled by his plight, his courage and his perseverance. Prayers for Grayson, Sloane and all the kids who battle pediatric cancer.

To say I am excited for this challenge is an understatement. Before my total hip replacement on April 8, 2024 riding my bike was a painful passion. Completing this challenge for the first time with the old hip and it’s issues in 2020 was a success. But this year my goals in miles and donations has increased and I’m honored and grateful to have the opportunity to represent the kids with cancer and their challenges again this year. Each kid I ride for is named on my GCC riding jersey and prayed over every mile. Join us as you can in kicking cancers butt for the kids. Thank you for your support, prayers and encouragement.
