Thank you so much to everyone who has support this cause this year and over the past 5 years! This means a great deal to me and it is so special to share in this with each of you. Kids deserve to be kids as long as they can and nothing brings that to a screeching halt like cancer. If we can help in the effort to save even one child, it is worth every ounce of effort.

Crossing the 100mi mark is a relief every year! It’s all downhill from here, you might say. Well, metaphorically not literally. There’s literally a lot of hills left. In fact, we live on a hill so that’s always a fun way to start a ride, but…
Anyway, back to the main point - thank you all so much for your support again this year! I cannot believe we are already over $1,500 for the year and rapidly approaching $10k total in the past 5 years. I couldn’t do this without all of your support and generosity.

Another September is here already! How did a year go by so quick?!
I am so excited for another year of the Great Cycle Challenge and am off to a good start, sitting at ~20% to goal at the start of day 5. I need to get out in front with big numbers in the first two weeks because of a few hockey tournaments this month that will have me traveling and away from my bike. Thus far everything is going to plan (other than the rain and heat) that has made my first rides inside on the trainer. Fear not! The trainer is much more exhausting than actually riding my bike outside, so it has not been a free pass.
Thank you all who donate either for your first time or fifth time. I do not take for granted either your generosity or how fortunate I am to have found something I am passionate about and enjoy so much. No matter how tired I get every September or how sore my muscles are, it means so much to me that I am healthy and capable to do something to generate attention for this cause for all of those sick kids that wish so badly to be out riding their bike too.
