Many thanks to everyone that took part in this year's Great Cycle Challenge with me.
Your care and generosity is absolutely awesome. Despite the leg injuries, I pushed on through and reached my miles goal. Fell just a bit short of my fundraiser goal, but very thankful for every single dollar.
Til next year, keep on doing what you love.

First actual ride on a bike today, since last getting injured. I know I should give it some more time to heal, but something in me was just not content just giving up on these kids. It will probably hurt later tonight, but the blood flow will hopefully be beneficial as well.
I'm going to try my best to get as many miles as I can stand tomorrow to reach the total goal of 250 miles.
Wish me luck, and thanks so much once more for your support and care.

Hello, friends.
I got a great start to this year's GCC, and that's a great thing...because I got injured with about a week and a half to go. This happened while taking a corner, at a high rate of speed, during a foggy and wet morning. I thought I was fine, but over the next 2 days the pain really came to the surgace. No broken bones, per x-rays, but the right leg feels hurt quite a bit. It hurts just walking.
So I've had to use the stationary bike at my work to get as many of the miles as I can. My original goal was 200, but I bumped it up to 250. Not sure if I can reach that.
Thank you all so much for your support and care for children. Love you guys.
Vincent.
WOW! You guys have been fantastic. Thank you so much for your support and mutual care for kids everywhere. With the amount of miles I already have, I am going to go for an updated target of 250 miles.
Much love,
Vincent...aka BJ.
Hello, friends.
Week 1 is done and started week 2 on a good note. Not exactly when I wanted to bike today, due to a 5K event along the Embarcadero, but I got the number of miles I wanted...and some more.
I'm fairly certain I will pass the target of 200 and perhaps reach close to 300.
I truly appreciate those of you who have taken part of this year's Great Cycle Challenge with me. Let's do this to keep our kids from battling cancer.
