Thank you to everyone who followed me on this journey. Today I hit my goal of 65 miles. There were times when it was hard with life getting in the way and no training taking place over the summer. But even though it was a challenge for me, that is nothing compared to what kids with cancer go through. Please continue to keep cancer research in your thoughts and prayers. Kids should be living life not fighting for it!
Thank you again for helping us meet our goals!
A beautiful view! Woods along the trail to the river, dotted with yellow, purple and white flowers. Bees flitting from one flower to another. Squirrels and birds trying not to be seen. And then the river! When biking yesterday, I had the privilege to witness a Great Blue Heron taking off. I am truly blessed to be able to ride these trails and work toward kicking cancer's butt! Nature calms and heals. It is amazing to feel the healing as I work to help heal children.
I invite you to continue to support this journey through encouragement and donations! Thank you!
I'm back in the saddle! I tweaked my back a little last Monday, so I took the week off of biking to make sure I didn't make it any worse. It's good to get back on the bike to fight kids' cancer! Thank you for following me on this journey!
Fighting kids cancer is what this ride is all about! One mile at a time!
Thank you so much for your support, both in encouragement and donations!
It means the world to me!
