September has got to be the 2nd busy month when you are working in higher ed. I am also in school working on courses for my PhD… many friends questioned my sanity. I ride for exercise but I also ride remembering my friend’s kids who now live cancer free… and my friend from my own childhood- who died at 15. The difference a few decades make in the treatment of a disease like cancer is incredible- but it doesn’t just happen- it takes dedication and MONEY.
