Well it’s September again and today marks the very first day of the Great Cycle Challenge in support of funding research to cure childhood cancer.
Last year, I rode over 1,100 miles in the month of September while also caring for dad who was dying from a sudden and aggressive brain cancer. I am ride again this year in his memory and on September 29th, I will be riding in the Dahlonega, GA ride called Six Gap through the Appalachian mountains in Georgia.
It’s going to be a great month of riding while also juggling my commitment to my family and work. Stay tuned for updates and to read more about how I’m progressing throughout the month.
