And we did not want you to feel like our appreciation is not sincere. Our best guess is that you heard this through one of our dear friends and, even though not having a slightest clue who we are, you opened up your heart and donated to this cause. Niko just turned 3 and we want him to learn the importance of community and standing up for a cause. Your example here has helped so much in showing that. It motivates him to understand what is happening to other kids his age and how riding his own bike is helping in his own way. As well as he feels like he is being supported by the community to keep riding throughout this whole month. He also is starting to understand the value of money and how we have to work hard to earn that money; so choosing where to spend it is indeed a big deal. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.”

As a kid I grew up loving Gandhi’s principle, “you must be the change you want to see in the world.” But I never once interpreted it meaning big changes. Instead, a serious of small changes that are constant that can affect others at a personal level. One living being at a time.
