This September, Riding for Juliana is taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Juliana was precocious 9 year old when she was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), the deadliest pediatric brain tumor. DIPG affects nearly 400 children in the USA every year, and no effective therapies are available. Patients with DIPG will slowly lose their ability to walk, stand, talk, eat, and breathe, while maintaining their cognitive abilities. A DIPG diagnosis is terminal with average survival lasting a meager 10 months.

Following her DIPG diagnosis, Juliana survived 53 weeks, passing on 3 March 2019. Juliana fought the bravest fight with the wish to resume the life she knew before her DIPG diagnosis.

So we are raising funds through our challenge to help kids like Juliana who are facing terrible odds against brain tumors. Support for the Children's Cancer Research Fund allows them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer, particularly in those cases where no effective treatment exists.

Please support us by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Your support will change little lives.

    Thank you.
