Group Ride Scheduled for September 19

Great Cycle Challenge has always been bigger than just miles. It’s about community, determination, and standing up for kids who need us most.

To celebrate your incredible efforts and bring our local riders together, we’d love for you to join Team Created to Conquer for a very special Group Ride in Edina on Saturday, September 19th. Family friendly!

Date: Saturday, September 19th, 2026

Where: Wooden Hill Brewing, Edina, MN

Time:

- 5:00 p.m. - Meet at Wooden Hill Brew (Look for reserved tables)

- 5:30 p.m. - Depart on group ride (Ride will be 30-45 mins long)

What to wear: Great Cycle Challenge jersey, GCC t-shirt, or CCRF branded apparel.

What to Bring: Your bike, helmet, water bottle, and plenty of enthusiasm! If you have any questions or need more details, our team is here for you.

Parking: Free parking available on site in the front or back of Wooden Hill

Food and Beverage: Wooden Hill Brewing is full food and beverage service.

Strong Start to Team Created to Conquer

Hi, Team!! I'm so impressed by the strong start to our 2026 team goal already. Way to get out there with rides and fundraising. We all ride for different reasons, and I can't wait to learn more about what brings you here.

Quick story from last weekend while I was out at a local dining establishment in Northeast Minneapolis. I saw a woman wearing the new, orange 2026 Great Cycle Challenge t-shirt as she walked in. Before I left, I made sure to go over to say hello. I let her know that I'm a rider, too, and this was my 5th year. This woman then told me she has been riding for 10 years!! I invited her to join Team Created to Conquer as she doesn't ride on a team, but as an individual. I hope that she'll take me up on the offer to join our team, because we have something special going on here. This is a supportive community.

Thank you for being a part of this community. Thank you for riding. Thank you for fundraising. And, thank you for fighting for better and safer treatments, and ultimately for finding a cure, for childhood cancer.

This September, Created to Conquer is taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So we are raising funds through our challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
