Riding the Great Cycle challenge to fight child cancer. My two tributes were too close to home and heartbreaking not to step up and do something, anything to help others. The effort needed to take long bike rides seems trivial in comparison to what the families must go through! God bless our youth, our medical community, and all that have been touched and are being touched by this terrible experience of child cancer! May god grant you the strength and courage that I pray for you while riding!

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

    Traveling in South Bend to See Notre Dame vs Rice on Saturday. Thursday was a travel day and long walk throughout ND campus and the Stadium ! Wow!!!

    But this morning needed to at least do my 90 minute resistance and had to end it with a stationary ride ! The rescuers on 9/11 made no excuses! Cancer never stops ! First responders never stop! And the kids I ride and workout for; They Never Ever quit!! I paused at 9.11 miles and prayed for our country. 25 years and it feels like yesterday ! Prayers to many many families who have lost first responders , medical peeps, and especially For families of someone battling or lost to Cancer !!!

    The people who knocked down the towers are no more than a Cancer that needs to be cut out of our lives! God Bless All!! OH! And Charlie Kirk! Well Done!!!
