Rachel, My first born child. Oh how My heart grew. My heart cracked a serious leak when Rachel was diagnosed with Brain\ Spinal cancer. My heart was repaired as Rachel excelled at meeting her life goals - finding great friends, maintain high grades, become a licensed driver (with a car), making a difference in the choir (musicals too), rocking it at One-Step camp, and being a good person to everyone. Living as a happy, witty, quirky, loving, compassionate person. My heart was sad every time we heard the treatments were not able to stop her cancer growth and we heard the options. My heart has never been the same since she left the world. My heart is finding its shape again as Rachel's sibling excel, as The Roadies ride, and as I make a difference.

My Story

I know exactly how it feels to have a child with cancer.

I also know exactly how it feels to have that child living in heaven.

Chris (Rachel's Aunt) gets a team together, through the Great Cycle Challenge. This year we are Rachel's Roadies.

Tomorrow out challenge begins. It is free to join our team. It is my second year and I am greatful to be a rider.

The great cycle challenge is a perfect reason to ride a bike and\or join a group.

Childhood cancer research is a perfect reason to donate.
