In Honor of Ruth Smith and Memory of Michael Smith & Art Henne.

I'm riding in honor of my Mother-in-law in her fight against cancer. Also in memory of my dad, Mike, and my former pastor, Art Henne.

My Story

This is my 7th year riding. I am riding in honor of my Mother-in-law and memory of my dad, my pastor, and a lot of friends and pets stolen by cancer. Did you know we lose an unimaginable 38 children a week in the US because of this disease.

The last three years I have failed to hit my 300 mileage and $3000 goal. So that has been adding to my motivation to make up for it this year. So, in 2024, I will ride 310 miles and raise $3100 with your help!

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

All donations are 100% tax deductible and help fight children's cancer.

She's fixed!

The Bicycle Station in Columbus answered my FB message on Labor Day and I got up there today. They replaced the inner tube and didn't find any defects in the wheel (whew). I bought and added a replacement mirror and lights to replace broken ones. Should get miles in tomorrow.

Rough start

So after not riding last year due to my bike being in the shop.... I found out today I still have a flat tire that won't hold air. But this will be a minor setback and won't deflate us as.we fight cancer. My goal is still 310 miles and $3100... who is with me?!?!
