Mt story begins during the COVID-19 pandemic. With a child on the way and an important exam on the horizon, I suddenly felt like I wasn’t capable of rising to the challenges.

My first year GCC goal of 300 miles was often times a struggle, but it got me into a routine and back into a healthier mindset.

I exceeded my miles and donation goal with the help of a lot of friends and family. Seeing the support and donations come in definitely made me feel less alone during the pandemic.

Fast forward to my 6th year - I have since welcomed my second child into the world and she is beautiful and healthy. My resolve for supporting the fight against childhood cancer is stronger than ever.
