My Story

This is the 4th year riding for the Challenge.

This year is going to be hard to up what I have done the past couple years! So I come up with something crazy to challenge myself, and help raise awareness. First year it was 1,000 miles, and the next year was a couple of centuries, and last year the vEverest challenge. So what crazy thing could I come up with this year? How about a ride from Mayport, FL to Key West, FL. And then I'm undertaking a Race in Dahlonega, GA which is a lot of climbing in 60 miles. I’m still pledging 1,000 miles for the month! I'm trying to we raise more this year from $500 to $1500. I'll try to double miles for whatever dollar comes in. I haven't let you down yet so why stop now.

I have been cycling for many years, but in the last couple years made the switch to road biking. 4 years ago when I met Lily it really hit home because she only lived a few house from me, and her father is also a Navy Chief like myself. It pushed me to drive hard everyday, in getting those miles in the bag. I will again be pushing hard for these children, because they deserve to live a healthy, and fun life free of cancer.
