My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

I'm betting most of us have been affected by cancer in some way. A loved one, a friend, a friend of a friend. I know cancer has hit very close to home for me. Friends and relatives of mine have both won and lost this battle. Please consider making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

I Am Riding For

In previous years I rode for a friend from high school as well as the mother of one of my closest friends. Both taken from us younger than they should have been. This year, my sixth year, I ride for all. How can we stand idly by while this scourge takes one life after another. Make no mistake, the sick are NOT the only ones affected by this disease. Their loved ones suffer quite a lot. I know, because I've seen it first hand. Please, won't you consider making a donation?
