My Story

This September, I'm pedaling forward in the Great Cycle Challenge to combat childhood cancer, the leading disease killer of children in the United States.

At 62, I'm a proud grandfather to nine wonderful grandchildren and blessed with four amazing children and a devoted wife. My family is my heart, and it's for them—and every child battling cancer—that I ride. Each year, over 15,700 children are diagnosed with cancer, and tragically, 38 young lives are lost each week. These kids should be exploring and enjoying life, not fighting to survive it.

By participating in this challenge, I aim to raise funds that will enable the Children's Cancer Research Fund to persist in their crucial work. Their efforts in developing lifesaving treatments and pushing toward a cure are vital.

Join me in this mission to offer these kids the hopeful, vibrant futures they deserve. Your support has the power to change lives and bring light to those fighting their darkest battles.
