My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

  • Ride 18!!!!

    Today I rode 20miles!!! Yes, you read that right! 20 miles was my goal by the end of this challenge and I met that goal tonight. I am so super proud of myself! This was the hardest ride yet. At miles 10 I wanted to stop but I pushed myself and kept going. Mile 15 came and that was harder than mile 10 but again I told myself “No, you’re going to keep going” so I kept going till 20. Yes, I screamed like a little kid but dang it I am allowed. Moral of the story Always keep a positive attitude and keep going! Be a badass and complete those goals!
