This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Training vacation GCC in site
11 Aug 2024Returning home from the best family vacation. Both active and relaxing with a lot of love sprinkled throughout. It struck me often how grateful I am for my precious family. I became increasingly aware of moments and time.
Something that can be changed in the blink of an eye with a cancer diagnosis. I watched our 2.5 year old grandson Emmett Drew as he played and explored the vastness of the woods. Around the campfire last night he said, look YaYa Moon.
I think it was his very first awareness of the moon.
Moments precious moments. Just what is on my mind as I continue to train for GCC . I want kids to be checking out the moon. I don’t want them inside hospitals with monitors and IVs.
Let us do this together. Cure Childhood and all Cancer !
