My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

28 Aug 2024On Sunday, my quest to ride 250 miles in September begins.
Due to medical circumstances that y'all know about, I'll be starting on a stationary bike. Sounds kind of boring, but I'll be listening to music and podcasts as I pedal away.
Hopefully I'm given the okay to get on my bike and hit the trails.

I Will Not Be Deterred
22 Aug 2024Update on my wrist - 2 fractured bones, 1 torn ligament and a "ligament fracture". MRI scheduled for Sept. 6th, and an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon to discuss treatment options on 9/10. Don't worry. Nothing hurts unless I do something stupid!
Looking into buying a stand to make my bike a stationary one, because the show must go on!
As Gilda Radner's character, Roseanne Roseannadanna would say, "It's always something."
