This year's tribute is simple....riding to honor MOM!! Not because she died in December of 2021. Simply because of how she lived her life. A simple woman who loved her family and both of her sons dearly. Although cancer wasn't the primary cause of her death, she was a cancer survivor who struggled for over a decade with this deadly disease, enduring multiple procedures and treatments. She was a dedicated supporter of this cause; I could always count on her support each year. Knowing her own struggles, she could not bear to think of a young child enduring the same challenges that she did. This photo is from before her decline, it is how I choose to remember her.
