Elias & Wendy

I'm riding in support of all children fighting cancer along with anyone else battling this horrible disease. I'm ridging for my friends grandson Elias who is 7 and is in the fight of his life. In Feb 2025 his cancer came back for a 3rd time with a vengeance. They gave him 6-12 months. I'm praying for a miracle for this little guy! I'm also riding for another friends sister-in-law Wendy who has been fighting it as well for several years. CANCER SUCKS!!! Please, please pray for them and everyone fighting this disease. Thank you! It so scary, when it's this close to home. Cheryl lost her battle to cancer. In Remission: Bobbi, Laurie, Rachelle, Brady & My Dad. Thank the LORD! I'm riding for all of you!!!

My Story

This September 2026, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

2015-2020 - I participated 7 years in a row and loved it! Boom, baby, boom!

2021 - took a year off because of a crazy work schedule

2022 - Participated again this year!

2023-2024 - Took off sometime due to health reasons.

2025 - Just didn't do it. But the Nike slogan "Just do it!" is telling me to do it next year!

2026 I'm taking this challenge on by storm this year! I'm riding for ELIAS & WENDY!

I chose to do this challenge back in 2015 because I really wanted to do the MS150 but that is all in one weekend so I decided why not do this one and help out kids with cancer and be able to get my miles in throughout a whole month.
