Lizzy was a bright and fun-loving gem with the most contagious laugh! In August of 2012 she passed away after a battle against brain cancer. This year, she would have celebrated her 23rd birthday. It has now been 14 years since I had to say goodbye to her. She was a fierce and fun young person, sharing smiles and the best giggles with the world.

My Story

1 Sep 2026

In 2012, my family had to say goodbye to Lizzy, my 9-year old niece, after a brave battle against brain cancer. This is my 10th year participating in the Great Cycle Challenge. This year my goal is to bike 600 miles and raise $10,000 towards conquering childhood cancer. Follow my story, sponsor me, donate to support research to find a cure, bike along with me, and/or share awareness. <3 Don't worry, be happy :)
