This will be my 9th year helping children and honoring my father. My Dad was a supporter of children's cancer programs. What better way to honor my Dad than to help children that are fighting for a chance at life. My Dad fought cancer for 16 years eventually losing the fight. The pic is from my father's last birthday, shortly after this picture he lost his battle with cancer. One thing about cancer it does not care!!! It is not prejudiced, it can and does touch everybody. If you are able, I am asking for your assistance to give a child a fighting chance by sponsoring me in the battle against children's cancer. Let's give these children a fighting chance. My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! This will be my 9th year riding in the Challenge. It is my pledge to ride my bicycle at least 500 miles in the month of September, yes 500 miles and raise as much money as I can for the kids.

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
