Leigh Vosler
Every time I ride, I think of my friend Leigh that gained her wings after fighting with cancer twice. I miss her and I want us to find a cure so we don't lose our family and friends to these awful diseases.
My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! This is my 10th year riding and raising money to help find a cure.
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
This year I'm riding for my friend Leigh, who gained her wings after losing the second time she faced the battle with cancer. She's in my heart and I'm thinking of her and praying for all of the kids with every mile I ride this year.
I am raising funds through my challenge to help support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
