My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.

Daily rider
29 Sep 2026Daily rider but never knew how far I was going honestly. About 30 miles on my longer rides. I bike all the way across town then back home. Sometimes I make a big block or circle all around town to go where I need to. Had no idea how much or how far until I started this challenge 😳. Really surprised. Mostly I bike everywhere but theres a few more hilly, mountainous regions I just bus to or Uber to if I can afford it. Our Kats system doesn't reach everywhere so there are many miles walked as well. If I even wanted to go to another town, city id have to set it up with someone. Trying to figure out how I could go to Warriors Path State Park from my home. It would require a very long ride and even more miles walked. I definitely need a vehicle but can't afford one at 54. Walking is extremely hard and more difficult for me with the severe arthritis. And I have asthma too.
